So my ipod was working fine until the battery died & when i charged it , it turned back on saying to connect it to itunes & when iconnected it to itunes it said ihad to put a password to work with itunes but icant put the password because the picture of the cable connecting the itunes wont take off my ipod screen.

jaye gonzalez, since you did not tell us which iPod you have, my suggestion would be to place it in DFU mode and restore from there with iTunes.
