Soda Spill, Not turning Back On, What Must I Do?

Well my girlfriend's dog spilled orange soda across my A1342's keyboard. I unplugged it and continued using it for another hour before actually opening it all up and airing it out for a few hours. Now, it doesn't even turn on. I tried restarting the PMU or whatever. I really need help saving my baby laptop. Based off info I found on here, I think it may be the logic board. Sadly, I don't have the money to replace the logic board. Any suggestions?

First things first. In the future, if you ever spill any liquid on a device, remove all power sources, including the battery. Since it's a little late for that now, here's what you need to do:

Open up the laptop and remove the logic board assembly. Don't worry about removing the heat sink, though. Take a cotton swab and very high concentration alcohol (>90% isopropyl works wonders) and gently swab all of the connections and contacts on the logic board. Soda leaves nasty sticky residue, so you want to make sure you get all of it.
