Title:

What is the cause of white corners on the display?

Text:

-I have this on a A1369 MBA & a A1278 MBP (But I have seen it on other models also) where the corners of the screen have gone white, similar to the picture I found on google images. I am just curious to know what could be the cause of this? I guess it has something to do with humidity or moisture as I have seen videos and posts that 'pinching' the screen for a few seconds' or "heating it up" can make it 'go away, but in my case none of these methods had any effect. Of course replacing the screen would fix it but that is not really an option on these very old units and is not my concern.
