Not by factory defaults. You still will face 2 problems there.
1: The PS4 disk drive do NOT use a SATA port, but a custom made ribbon cable (Sony’s work)
2: The PS4 disk drive do NOT have the SATA factory power port. It’s all custom (again Sony’s work).
So you need to find a way to power the disk drive properly, the same for the data (SATA) port. It’s very difficult nearly impossible to get it fit in a external closure.
There is probably no guide by anyone who have tried this.
I recommend to buy a “ready to use” blu-ray disk drive. Unless you want to start a new project (again, it’s nearly impossible to get a stable PS4 disk drive).
