From what is known so far Apple has used a custom chip in their older M1 and M2 Mac Mini and MacBook/Macbook Pro systems which likewise would be used here.
-There is no board or card, just a soldered chip on a small logic board with the antennas as you can see here

So while the part is replaceable, unless you had a failure it wouldn’t be upgradable if that was what you where thinking.
