iPad Air 4 screen covered in lines after battery replacement

[image|3052015]I used the ifixit kit to replace the battery on my iPad Air 4 but when I put the screen back on and powered it on it was covered in lines. It still responded to different external inputs from manually resetting or turning it on and off but it was still just lines going along the length of the screen.
