You will need to to replace the connector. The part is a 10 pin [link|https://www.i-pex.com/product/evaflex-5-vs|EVAFLEX 5-VS](part no. 20535-010E-02) from I-Pex.
+
+To replace the connector, you will need
+
+
+
+A) A soldering iron, leaded or unleaded solder, low melt solder, solder braid, and a solder sucker .
+
+
+
+OR
+
+
+
+B) A heat gun, solder braid, Kaptan tape, and a soldering iron
+
+
+
+For option A)
+
+Connector removal:
+
+# Heat up the soldering iron. Add a small amount of low-melt solder to the tip of the iron.
+# Add a small amount of low-melt solder to the tip of the iron.Drag the soldering iron on the pins of the connector.
+# Drag the soldering iron on the pins of the connector. Add low-melt solder to each of the outside pins.
+# Add low-melt solder to each of the outside pins.Heat up one of the outside pins, then use the solder sucker to remove the solder from the joint.
+# Heat up one of the outside pins, then use the solder sucker to remove the solder from the joint.
+# Repeat step 5 for the other outside pin.
+# Use a solder braid to remove any additional solder on the outside pins. After this step, you should be able to bend the connector up.
+# Bend the connector up so that the outside pins aren't touching the motherboard.
+# Reheat the solder connections on the middle pins. Use a tweezer to remove the connector, being careful not to damage any traces.
+# Use a soldering iron and solder braid to remove the low-melt solder from the pads it was applied to.
+Soldering in the connector
+
+# Add a small amount of leaded or lead-free solder to the tip of your soldering iron.
+# Add a small amount of flux to the middle pads.
+# Place the connector onto the motherboard.
+# Line the connector pins up with the connector pads on the motherboard.
+# Apply solder to all of the middle pins, making sure to prevent any solder bridges.
+# Apply solder to the 2 outside pins of the connector.
