The M.2 slot is near the SATA connector on the back of the motherboard while you open the machine. And it is SATA typeworks with M.2 SATA SSD. If you plug in a M.2 PCIe SSD, itthe machine will not workrecognize that SSD. If you enter the BIOS setup interface, you can find the PCIe and NVME setting option are gray, and the PCIe controller is 0. So I guess this motherboard can not install PCIe equipments.
