@paulloed yes it should come on with the power cordcord connected. This is possiblepossibly an issue with the power management circuitry etc. So, you could try and see if a new battery will turn it on and will allow you to do some trouble shooting. I am certain you cehckedchecked the power board etc for missing and/or burned components etc. Post some images foof the boards so we can try to assist you furtehrfurther.
