Back when I regularly used optical media (not so much anymore), I found [https://sourceforge.net/projects/simplyburns/|Simply Burns] works well on MacOS. It’s still available and supported today if you need something to burn CD’s and still appears to be supported as of 20182019, but at a reduced capacity at this point since optical media is being phased out for mainstream use.

Simplyburns is good, II’ve always used Simply Burns on Macs. It always works for me and has done so for years. It can be downloaded [https://sourceforge.net/projects/simplyburns/|here].

still use it 3, almost 4 years now!appears to be supported with a update released in 2018.
