Title:

Spilled Coffee on System. Power Button Functionality Erratic. Fixes?

Text:

Unfortunately, I spilled a cup of coffee on my Late 2016 15” MBP with the Touch Bar. I quickly shut it off, took off the back cover, and set it next to a fan for 24 hours.

It all works perfect except the power button. Finger print functionality is working, but the physical button press is erratic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. There might be some coffee residue in the contacts?

Is there an efficient way to access the button or clean it out? Chemicals? Pressurized air? I found the button on iFixIt, but no guide.

Thanks in advance.
