hi the ripped connector isntisn’t the LCD and Digitizer, if theythe LCD and Digitizer still works, then you have then ripped the Touch ID home button ribbon flex, if you replace the entire display assembly the home button will then work again, how i know is i had the same problem until i replaced the entire screen and mine is now fully working.
