-If the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment is working OK and not frozen over or faulty, you may have a faulty [https://www.appliancepartspros.com/motor-ice-container-parts-for-maytag-mfi2665xeb7.html|damper control assembly - part #11] that is not allowing enough cold air from the freezer section to be passed into the fridge section so that the required temp is reached, for both the ice maker and the rest of the fridge section.
