kinked heat sink, is there a thermal conductor that I can put on it?

I have an Inspiron 1545, It has a kinked heat sink, but it still seems operational, and when i’m using Youtube , or at random times, the fan starts running a lot, is there a thermal conductor that I can use to put on my heat sink till I get enough money to replace it?
