You can use DS4Windows to connect your Dualshock controller to your PC. From there, you click “Edit” adnand then “Controller readings”. This will show a dynamic 2D graphic that will help you to evaluate the severity of the stick drift problem. On mine, the right stick drifts when I steer the left stick, or when I push R3 (right hand side stick down at the center). I tried resetting with a toothpick, switching R and L sticks and back, and also opening and cleaning with cotton and alcohol, but nothing fixed the problem. I’m afraid I’ll have to buy me another of these ridiculously expensive Dualshock controllers, but before I do that, I may or may not pay a visit to AliExpress and check if they can send me just a brand new right hand side stick, so to repair it myself.
