I would also add to this, 100% follow th guide to remopve the logic board from the phone. I would then use an iOpener [product|IF145-198-8] . All you need to do is the put the gel pack in the microwave for 30 seconds and then apply to the rear of the phone to soften the adhesive. With the adhesive soft carefully slide the credit card shaped cards between the battery and the rear of the case to seperate the battery. As previous users have mentioned. Take care and do not use any sharp implements as you risk damaging the battery cell.
