Migue Ford, I don't think that all the great people on here who specialize in the iPhone repair "like to go the easiest and safest way." I bet some have even tried it and probably bend or destroyed their LCD's. Nobody said that it can not be done, all everyone says that it is difficult and cumbersome with a high degree of failure. Just because you can bybuy the piece separate does not mean that it is meant to be repaired like that. But you might just be on to something here and if you already have the pieces, why not give it a try and let us all know so that we can learn something new. Good Luck to you....
