Hi,
I cannot find the service manual for your model laptop, but have found this link which describes the dis-assembly of a MSI GS43VR laptop which I believe may be very similar to yours in concept.
-It shows that the headset jack is soldered onto the motherboard. Therefore as yours is most likely the same, it is possible that the jack has either been broken away from the board and needs to be soldered back into place or possibly replaced.
