-Indeed the cable system is the secret to a successful transplant of the LCD. As others have found out, merely swapping the LCD panel won't work. The cable must also be part of the transplant. Earlier today, I successfully swapped my defective ChiMei LCD panel and cable with a whole assembly and cable taken from another 1.33 GHz iBook.
