Hi Betty,

Try to install an operating system (Windows/Ubuntu recommended) to Flash Drive and load it on your laptop. Then open the disk drive manager and check your internal Hard Drive condition. Below are possibly symptoms:

* If the drive detected and there's no error, your windows partition isn't bootable, luckily it's repairable with windows installer CD
* If the drive detected but it corrupted, [http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/fix-corrupted-windows-ntfs-filesystem-ubuntu/|this link] will help you
* If the drive not detected, your laptop's SATA cable which connects motherboard to internal hard drive was broken, or unfortunately your internal hard drive is dead (>_<) sorry..
