If it sounds like it's spinning then it will be one of 3 things.
-1. Cluth
+1. Clutch
2. Failed transmission
-3 drive bell, you have to remove the ajitator to see the top of the bell see if it's stripped out.

-If there is nothing happening during the spin or wash cycle (no sound) and the timer is just advancing the it's the lid switch....
