Drickko, it's a definite that you will have to replace the connector. Yes, it most likely is the reason for your display not to come on. The bigger issue here will be why it burned like that. After you change the connector check the circuitry for short to ground etc. ConnectorContact 3 is the power to your LCD. your pins look like 40-36
