Drying in rice was a good start... it helps but doesn't "fix" anything. You also followed up with cleaning... hope you used 90% or better alcohol as drying agent... less % contains too much water.

You can try an SMC reset.. you may have corrupt NVRAM or SMC data.

'''Try a safe boot''' and see if that changes anything... (many fonts and extensions (apple speak for drivers) are not loaded in a Safe Boot.

You may have a damaged CPU or a damaged Sensor. Without running Apple Diagnostics can't say for certain.
