See if the phone will come up in iTunes with a different screen assembly attached or with none at all. Then you can eliminate that as a possible cause.

Look for damage of fuses and components/ ic's around the screws and compare the board with a photo of another board. It's common to let your screwdriver slip and chip a component off the board.

Check that the battery is properly seated in the connector and again check for damage
