To add to [http://www.ifixit.com/User/352168/robignorant|robignorant]'s answer[http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/62532/Can+I+replace+a+regular+white+MacBook+upper-case+with+multi-touch#answer64747|answer], you'll need the trackpad from the A1260 (not the A1226) model of MacBook Pro, which you can [product|IF185-101|find on iFixit] or [http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=A1260+trackpad&_fsct=&_sop=15&_ipg=200|on eBay] for cheaper. If you're having difficulty determining if it is an A1226 or A1260 upper case, the keyboard on the A1260 has a right 'alt/option' key where the A1226 has an 'enter' key near the arrow keys.

Unfortunately, iFixit only has a [guide|515|guide for replacing the upper body], but no guide for replacing the trackpad. You can find some info on [http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1431597|MacRumors forum] but the steps are not nearly as thorough if you are used to the iFixit guides.
