As long as the logic board and all of the "functioning" components work - yes. I keep several complete screw sets on hand for the 4, 4s and the 5. I also keep extra sets of the "small parts" - grounding clips, etc. I'd definitely give it a shot. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work... But maybe, you get to be the guy that finally fixed it (and kept it from being recycled). I can give you sources for the parts if you like.

+ Leaving them out would not be good for the function of the unit. Bad wi-fi reception, etc. generally, I have found iDevices to follow the "there's no such thing as extra parts" rule!
