Title:

Trackpad Replacement... New upper case?

Text:

So unfortunately for me today, I dropped my phone straight onto the trackpad of my MBP 2011, which created a niiice crack from side to side. The trackpad works fine, I'm using it right now, can't feel the cracks at all really. But it's definitely something I want to get replaced.

I was looking around online and found replacement trackpads for only the earlier unibody Macbook Pros, not the 2011 model. My question is, do I have to buy the whole upper case assembly to replace the trackpad?

Thanks

-I'm probably gonna do that anyways in the future cause my roommate spilled water on the keyboard leading to no backlight and the DVD slot is heavily dented (doesn't matter I have an SSD in there).
Thanks
