iPhone 13 Pro: Booting into recovery mode. Will not restore.

I am trying to fix my iphone 13 pro which spontaneously has stopped working (no physical accident or known damage). This won't turn on at all, including a hard reset. When plugged into a MacBook , the MacBook recognises it is in recovery mode and only gives the option to restore it and erase everything. When this option is selected, the apple logo appears, a blank progress bar appears, and then it fails and an error message on the MacBook is shown saying Unknown Error 9 060E.0000. I have tried this process both in DFU and Recovery mode to no avail.

I have tried multiple different cables, software on the MacBook pro is up to date.

Has anyone experienced this or a similar issue and has any suggestions as to what I can do?

iPhone 13 Pro: Temporary screen just to get data

Hello everyone,

Is there any other screen compatible with iPhone 13 Pro?

I just need it to get data from it to a new iPhone.

Or if you have any other method how can I get all the data transferred to a new iPhone without the screen - even better!

iPhone 13 Pro: My iPhone restarts in standby mode

Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me with this problem, I bought an iPhone 13 pro used, when I checked everything was fine. But after I paid for it and threw it in my pocket, after 10 minutes it rebooted, I thought that this could happen. And I didn’t pay attention, after 3 hours it rebooted again, this alarmed me. But I continued to crawl and everything was fine, in the evening when I put the phone down and went to bed in the morning I woke up and the iPhone asked me to enter a password code as if after a reboot I went into analytics and was horrified, it rebooted 12 times overnight. I started to figure it out, rolled back iOS, did a hard reset, nothing happened. And I noticed such a feature that before rebooting, all applications are lost even settings.

I decided to take it to a local service center where they told me that the problem was in the memory and the repair cost was about $120. I agreed to pick up the phone. And I think I’ll just use my data without transferring it and at night again when I was sleeping the phone rebooted 4 times, this is according to the panics. Of course, I brought him back to this service where for 3 weeks they almost can’t figure out what’s wrong with him.

I am attaching panic files, maybe someone has encountered such a problem, I will be most grateful for any help.

iPhone 13 Pro: Diagnosing microphone problem, where are mics located.

I bought my iPhone 13 Pro back in 2022, year after release. Recently, whenever I’m talking on speakerphone during a call, the audio sounds very bad and sometimes cut out. I used voice memos app to try to find out which mic it was, the one at the top or the one on the bottom of the phone; it sounded fine through the one on bottom, but super quite and glitchy through the top when I recorded myself talking.

Where is the mic located at the top of the phone? Is it connected to the LiDAR and camera and speaker, or are those all on different connected/cables? How hard is the repair job to replace the mic?

Also, the battery is at 84 % health, should I wait a bit longer to replace, or should I just do it while I have the phone open?

Thanks for the help

Update 3/9 need help still

iPhone 13 Pro: iPhone 13 pro battery replacement

I bought the anti-clamp and iphone 13 pro fix it kit to replace my battery on my iphone 13 pro.

I cannot get an initial gap to appear at the bottom of the display after following these directions:

iPhone 13 Pro Battery Replacement

After removing the pentalope screws at the bottom of the iPhone, I tried the following process for 2 hours:

Heat the bottom of the iPhone with a hair dryer for 90 seconds, quarter turn the anti-clamp to increase the suction each time, wait for a minute to see if a gap appears but it never did.

There must be a step that isn’t in the instructions.

Specifically, what to do when the following step does not result in an opening gap at the bottom of the display other than try again:

“Wait one minute to give the adhesive a chance to release and present an opening gap.”

I am trying this repair myself because the apple store refused to replace my battery as the top right corner (metal part not the screen) has a few more scratches than they are comfortable with.

So basically yes, I forgot to attach battery connector cover after battery replacement. is it critical? should i disassemble and put it back. I don't really want to disassemble it again. I already attached adhesive and don't have another one.

iPhone 13 Pro: How can I fix my iPhone’s Bluetooth?

When I use any of my AirPods with my iPhone I get random interference. It doesn’t matter which AirPods I am using. The interference sounds like a weird computer noise and whatever I’m listening to (podcast or phone call) is completely garbled. If I’m on a phone call the other person hears the sound too. The problem is with the phone and not my AirPods (this has been investigated and the problem continues even with a brand new pair of AirPods. )

iPhone 13 Pro: I need to repair my screen, if I get a non original but compatible?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and wanted to change my screen while keeping Face ID and functionalities. I understood this process I possible with iOS 18. My question is: do I have to get a refurbished original screen or a soft oled compatible will work? Do i have to put the cable that I detach from the top of the screen (the adhesive part I don’t know the name of it) and put it in the new screen or I would still need a refurbished/ original part? Do you know any stores in Europe that sell those parts (if possible compatible soft oled or OEM)?

iPhone 13 Pro: Screen replacement glitchy, have to tap multiple times for response

I replaced my iPhone screen with the "Aftermarket Soft OLED".

Tap to wake doesn't work unless I just turned the phone off.

Touching the screen for scrolling or pressing buttons also delayed if I haven't touched it for more than 10 seconds.

Things tried:

Looked at ifixit's FAQ, and tried shutting the phone down for 6 hours for a completed reboot. Still no change.

iPhone 13 Pro: After battery replacement the FaceID and front camera stopped working

The camera-app can't switch to the front camera anymore, and FaceID doesn't recognize me anymore (it does not give an error, but it won't recognize me anymore).

Everything else works fine, and i'm pretty sure that everything is connected correctly.

Back camera works fine.

Any idea what could be wrong?

iPhone 13 Pro: NFC not working after flash/akku replacement.

Hey, I hope someone else here has an idea, as I no longer have any solutions.

Tldr:
Backglass replaced - flash broken - nfc working
flash and akku replaced - nfc not working
charging coil replaced - nfc still not working

What happened and what did I do?

I dropped my Iphone Pro 13 and the glass back broke. I replaced the back and broke the flash in the process. The phone worked perfectly at the time, just not the flash.

1. so I ordered a flash and if you have the phone open anyway, I also ordered a battery at the same time.

2. then I replaced the battery and the flash. Everything works perfectly except that now no NFC things like Apple Pay etc. work.

3. after long research I found 2 problem areas. The NFC antenna is in the charging coil. And the “antenna” is also part of the flash. Both components were involved in my repair.

4. charging coil bought new and inserted. Everything works except NFC.

Now I'm stumped and don't know what to do. I have not noticed any damage. Adjusting the flash module several times has not helped either. Should I buy a new flash module and try again? Or am I missing something else?

Many thanks for any helpful answers.

iPhone 13 Pro: Cameras not working after changing battery.

Hello guys,

I have a problem with my iPhone 13 Pro.

I successfully (more or less) swapped my battery with a new one bought on iFixit.

After reconnecting the battery, screen, etc., I noticed that my main cameras are not working at all, I can only see black screen in camera app, and any other app that uses camera. selfie camera worked for cca 10 minutes, and then it stopped as well. After a reboot, selfie camera works again, but main cameras do not.

Flashlight does not work as well.

Face ID works normally.

Any ideas? I was very careful not to damage anything while changing the battery, everything went smooth actually.

Thank you everyone on suggestions.
