Washing Machine: Whirlpool 1cwtw4845ew1 toploader cold water valve solenoid?

The above mentioned washer refuses to fill up on the cold water side randomly, basically you can hear an electric humming sound but no water enters. So I have already figured it must be the solenoid going bad (or am I wrong)? Hot water side works just fine. Did the manual check, and indeed cold water side throws an error. Question: I already found the whole inlet valve available, but I suppose just the cold water solenoid is not available for purchase? Or is there another fix I could use. The part (whole valve body with hot and cold water) is rather expensive, so if at all possible, would rather not purchase it right now.

Wtw5100hw0 wouldn't drain, so I checked the hose for clogs. Checked the plug for continuity and nothing. I found a break in the wire so I fixed that. Check continuity and nothing, I cut the connector off and both wires have continuity. Now the problem is I can't find the connector I cut off. I have female spade connectors on the wires but have no idea which wire goes to what terminal on the pump.

I’m troubleshooting my Whirlpool FWG8168BV that’s throwing an F08 error code, and I’d really appreciate some input.

Initial behavior:

- On a 30°C cycle, the machine starts normally (fills with water, drum rotates both directions).

- After about 10 minutes, it stops, drains itself, and shows F08.

Current behavior:

- Now it throws the F08 error immediately when starting a wash.

What I’ve checked so far:

- Heating element: Resistance measures within expected range. Removed and inspected, no visible damage. Also powered it directly and it heats up quickly.

- NTC sensor: Resistance changes correctly with temperature, seems functional.

- Voltage at heating element: Measured during a 30°C cycle, reads 0V.

- Relays (on PCB): Tested off-board with 9V, confirmed they click and switch correctly.

Where I’m stuck:

- I’m not sure how to verify if the relays are actually receiving the control/drive voltage during operation.

- Could the issue be upstream (control board logic)?

- Is it possible the pressure switch is not signaling correct water level, preventing heating?

Has anyone seen a similar issue or can point me in the right direction for further diagnostics?

ge top-load washing machine. unsure of exact model of washer or purchase year since its my aunts and not my own

did not start until someone started spinning the drum a bit manually before hitting the start button
would not respond to any button inputs until then, stopped responding to button inputs after
keeps chiming and activating/deactivating buttons seemingly at random (deep fill and my cycle in particular) which i have video footage of here -- please excuse the subpar quality
to my knowledge no settings have been changed in any way, intentionally or otherwise, that could cause this
as far as my testing can confirm its not an issue with load size, balance, or power
worked just fine up until sometime yesterday at earliest

what gives? is it just a big fancy block of garbage now? thanks in advance for any answers you may have o7

I have a Kenmore 90 Series washer. Last week it began making a humming sound after filling. It will not agitate, spin, or drain.

I was able to empty it out and check the pump, didn't find any issues but replaced anyways. Issue persisted. Lid latch working normally as well. I can manually rotate the barrel from inside the washer and by spinning the coupler on the motor side of the transmission.

Removed the motor and verified the coupling was still intact, and did not notice any mushrooming or smell from the capacitor. I noticed the motor was very hot, but I am unsure if it was outside normal parameters. I also noticed a few wires getting very hot from inside the cabinet.
