Zoomer Dino Boomer: Out of control - only goes full speed backwards!

I've bought a zoomer dino on Ebay, but I think its faulty. I cannot control his movements - he moves a few times and then goes full speed backwards. It doesn't stop, inevitavly bumps into something and then keeps on spinning his wheels (while upside down) on max speed. I also have problems getting it into gesture mode. I tried pushing the button on his back but without success. My son loves his dino, but it's no fun with it being completely out of control and racing backwards all the time. Any help appreciated!

I got my 1999 furby from someone over ebay who said it worked perfectly fine. I put in new batteries to test that theory and it started moving everything on its body rapidly and didn’t stop until i took the batteries back out. I would have tried to find a solution then but after a minute it started smelling like it was overheating. I didnt want my furby to catch fire after all. The furby also wasnt speaking but his insides made a lot of noise. Any idea what it could be?

iDog MP3 toy: not powering on..battery leakage

Have been given this to repair for a friends daughter. Took out batteries and discovered battery corrosion on one contact. Scraped that off, replaced batteries with known charged batteries but still won't power on despite pressing reset. Thinking I need to get further in I have take the obvious screws out from underside of toy but can't work out how to get the base off. I've even tried prying the rubber feet off the back leg in search of a missing screw (nothing to find!) The bottom seems to be stuck on this one remaining back leg, I can't lift this segment over the jack and I have applied appropriate force, spudgers, screwdrivers and swear words. Does anyone have any ideas?? No amount of googling has thrown out any useful links, but I do know about lots about real dogs abcesses and other injuries..(love google's idea of searching ;-) )

A little update. Doggy barking, child happy. Guide being written for any other foolhardy person wanting to fix this. NOT for the faint hearted. I tried scraping the corrosion off but just couldn't get it good enough to make contact with batteries, even considered the aluminium foil trick but none in! So took it all apart, soaked contacts in sodium bicarbonate, reassembled, borrowed foil from neighbour and all good. Wish I'd gone to the neighbour first!!!

Furby: Why is my furby boom not working?

My furby boom hit a wall when it was thrown up in to the air by a friend. Since then it won't turn on we have tried new batteries but still nothing! We have reset it too and it's not doing anything!
