Texas Insturments TI-84 Plus Color Silver Edition: Calculator won't charge - I think it's my port

My TI 84 plus c was working great for a long time, but recently I couldn't get it to turn on and the LED bar on the side would not light up when i plugged it in. I bought a new battery and charger from Amazon and installed it, but it still won't light up on the side. The battery had 25% charge in it so I could use it for a little bit - I need it for one more course.

I guess I'm wondering if there is any way I could tell that my port is broken or if there is anything I can play around with to get it to charge. My charger sits firmly-ish in the slot, it wiggles form side to side a bit if I play with it. Even when I move it around, the light doesn't even flash to show that I've got a charge even for a second. Any advice would be great!

I dropped my calculator and now it won’t turn on. I plugged it in and it started to load, but about 50% in, the screen turns grey (it is not the same loading screen with the clock) this screen is just grey. any advice?

There’s a cover attached to the calculator when it is first opened that is holding the top and bottom ends of the calculator. How do you take off this back cover, which has no screws?

I replaced the batteries already and also tried resetting ram so I think this might be a mother board problem. How ever when I graph it looks alright so i don’t think it’s display issues

When I tried to run pokemon emerald on a Ti Nspire CX II, it just gives me a white screen and I don’t know the reason behind it. I reset my calculator multiple times. I have endless installed. It worked one thing and after that, it never worked and whenever I tried to run it, it just gives me a white screen. Can someone show me how to fix it or teach me? That would be appreciated!

Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus: The c7 capacitor on the the pcb seems to be damaged.

I took apart my TI-83 plus to see what was wrong with it, and I found out that the c7 capacitor does not work properly. Does anyone know what the c7 capacitor is so I can replace it?

It can be charged and turned on and off. However, it stays at a fully white screen. I have already tried pressing the reset button behind but it just turns the screen off. I spilled a tiny bit of water on it yesterday and discovered it today. Is it water damage?

TI-84 Plus CE: Calculator Isn't Charging, Cable seems to work however.

For the record, I’m not using the original power supply that came with the calculator to charge, however it should do fine. (1A 5V) When I plug the cord into the calculator, the red light appears, then the calculator turns on. The red light starts flashing. The calculator does not seem to acknowledge the charging. The strange thing was that when I removed the battery, the light just stayed green, but the calculator wouldn’t turn on, so the cable is working, right? When I hit the reset switch, the red light becomes solid, but as soon as I let go, back to blinking. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.
