well, few days before it got stuck on red light it was not blinking or not turning off I saw some online videos and resetted(via reset switch) it after then it rarely turns on and doesn't connect with my PlayStation 3 I even use scp toolkits to check whether it connects via usb or not well it didn't connect even i tried new usb cable It didnt work

So i require some helps for this

PS Vita Slim: Small tab came off during reassembly

The small brown tab that clamps the ribbon cable for the back case onto the motherboard just popped off while I was putting the cable back in. Attached are pictures of the tab,

the ribbon cable on the back case,

and the pins it fits into

(the white slot) does this go back on and if so how? I have large fingers and can barely see what I’m doing. Does the cable work without it being clamped down/can I just tape the cable in the slot? The disasembly guide on here could really use an overhaul, it just says to reverse the steps, but getting things back together is much different than taking it apart. That and it skipped steps relating to the ribbon cables.

PSP 3000: Why wont my psp3001 connect to my wireless router?

I have like 17 psp games but no psp console so today I got a used one. When I went home I tried to connect it to my wireless router. When the list of routers came up after scanning for them, my router showed up in the list but said incompatible. I tried clicking on it and nothing happened. The connection speed I have is 2.4G and 5.0G but only 2.4 showed up. . All of the other routers that showed up said incompatible also .My thought is that since this version of psp playstation portable devices is almost 10 years old the wireless connector of the psp is old and not as strong as todays electronics so it cant handle the connection speed my house router has, am I right? When I lived In my old house with my psp 3001 I had before, it connected fine, but the router for my old house is just as old as the psp 3001 is. So I think that the older router put out a slower speed that the psp could handle. Am I correct? Is their any way in the settings where I can get it to connect? I need to get to the part where I put in my routers password to then proceed to connect and it wont let me. Thanks.

DualShock 4: Why ps4 controller does turn on on

My PS4 and another controller work perfectly fine, so the issue is only with one specific DualShock 4 controller.

Problem details:

When I connect the controller with USB, the orange charging light appears briefly and then turns off. Pressing the PS button does nothing. I charged it for over 24 hours with no change. I already tried resetting the controller using the reset button on the back. The same USB cable and PS4 work correctly with another controller.

Because another controller works normally on the same PS4, I think the issue is inside this controller itself.

Does this sound more like:

a dead battery, faulty charging board/USB port, or motherboard failure?

So for different controller I installed normal sticks and it won't charge or connect to my PC. I noticed on the four prongs on the analog stick that is R3( works in-game and camera spinning) were really short. I still can connect to my ps4 via wireless. I was able to press X to enter the game from the ps4 menu, but in the main menu when I pressed X it wouldn't register. So I removed a solder from that analog stick and then I was able to enter the game from its main menu still not charging nor I can connect to PC I was able to connect prior to replacing sticks.

Hello! this controller was my first attempt at repairing and i accidently touched the plastic socket with the soldering iron. im trying to find the name of the socket on the controller that the trigger ribbon inserts into. i can't tell if it's the same as the microphone socket. Ok so I have replaced the ribbon film as well as the rubber bumpers as well as the R1 button itself as well as clean all contacts and everything works on the controller but the R1 button. What would cause this single button to not work with all the items that I replaced what could cause this problem ??

PlayStation 3 Slim: Replaced my disc drive, but now it won't take any discs

My blu ray laser stopped working in my original disc drive, so I replaced it with a new one--and made sure to insert my old PCB into the new drive. However, after I put it back together and turned it on, my disc drive will not take any discs at all. It makes a noise on initial startup, but after that it just acts like its dead.

I am assuming that I did something wrong when reassembling it, but I wanna try to narrow down where the issue is. I had a lot of difficulty with the ribbons. Would one of them cause the drive to act this way if not correctly inserted? Everything seemed to be in its right place during reassembly.

This is a CECH 2001A model slim ps3. I made sure that the new drive matched the specs as my old drive as well.

DualShock 4: L1 L2 and Dpad not working all of sudden (PS4 DualShock 4 controller)

I was playing Forza Horizon 6, and in the middle of the game my controller suddenly started acting weird. Some buttons stopped working properly, and the L1 button was constantly being pressed by itself.

At first, I thought the battery was low because I use Bluetooth, so I charged it and tried again the next day. Unfortunately, the problem was still there.

I got frustrated and tapped the controller pretty hard with my hand, and now the issues are even stranger:

Pressing L1 also triggers L2
L2 no longer works
Pressing left or up on the D-pad triggers L1
All the other buttons seem to work fine

I'm really confused because I was using the controller normally and carefully. I wasn’t being rough with it or anything like that. I was just casually playing, and then literally in the middle of the game, it started doing that. What could cause this, and is there any way to fix it?

PSP 300x: How to remove the soldering point on the umd drive ribbon cable

I want to replace the umd drive of my psp but i cant find any good guides anywhere on how to remove the anti static soldering point

When installed the unit turns on when triggered by both internal levers being pushed down i get a red light and the sensor moves up and down but it never goes past loadibg a disc i never hear the motor start

The first three pics are of the front the last three are the back so I noticed some scratches on the front on of the board I don't they will cause any problems my concern are the ones on back I used a solder sucker on vias on the back as well as lower melt solder I hope all it takes is a little solder mask

My L Button stopped working a few years ago... as a kid i broke the plastic and put a metal foil there, so it worked for a while, then it stopped, never to work again... i want to replace the gray "plastic", it is a PSP 3001, and i do not know where to get the part.

Hi I have had this psp for like a year now and it was basically in near new condition. But one day when I had it on charge it was over heating and I don’t think I turn it off properly (left it on rest mode) and so I quickly disconnected it BUT now it won’t turn on. The charger works and the battery has power too (Checked both with an Electrometer) but it just doesn’t turn on. The LED doesn’t flash and neither does the screen. Is my PSP dead or what could be the issue?

Hello Everyone.I have a question.

I have a DualShock 4 Controller with Model CUH-ZCT2.Its working perfectly.I also have another controller that is copy and i can feel the pretty much difference between my copy controller and original(assumed) controller.I brought my PS4 2nd hand in good condition.That dude told me that Black controller is copy and second one that have a custom elden ring shell is original.

1:This controller performs very well and doesnt have any input delay like my copy controller.I played GTA V and other games to compare them and Original(assumed) Elden ring controller performed very well.

2.This controller joysticks also have firm resistance and it is very accurate and aiming is easy in games.its buttons are also good.And joysticks buttons L3 R3 also can be clicked and have a damp and different sound than my copy controller.

3.Unlike other controllers this controller has a sticker on which 1000MAh is written.Im not sure if there is any model that has written 1000mah battery as most of has written 800mah.I also opened it and battery is original 1000mah .

4.Its joysticks can also pop out(not out of shell) and snap back in.I have tried this on my copy controller but it has fixed joysticks that cannot pop out.

5.Im attaching pictures and videos of every single part of my controller.I have also attached videos with button sounds.

So please someone answer me if my controller is original or not.By my Point of View it seems totally original...
