Samsung Chromebook 2: Is the eDP cable 1-lane or 2-lane?

I'm going to replace the display with a higher resolution one, which has the same power signature and connector locations, but the higher resolution also demands a 2-lane eDP connector. I know that the 13.3" Chromebook 2 uses a 2-lane eDP connector since it's 1920x1080. I'm hoping that Samsung used the same connector on both machines to make things easier.

Chromebook cant hold a signal stronger than 25% unless right next to a router, and even then it will not go higher than 50%

Only device afftected, always the same regardless of networks or routers.

Been told its likely a hardware issue but I cant find a way to actually fix it. Ive seen how to take apart the chromebook but have nevet seen any replacement parts for components that deal with wifi.

hello. My Chromebook is stuck on this screen. I cannot raise any toolbars or even try to connect to the internet. Our router and connection is fine on all our other computers and devices. Any help would be great. I've restarted the device and it keeps going straight to this screen immediately.

Samsung Chromebook Plus V2: Keys on Chromebook Not Working

I have an old Samsung Chromebook Plus V2, and some of the keys not working.

What I tried:

I took the keycaps off and cleaned the inside with Isopropyl Alcohol (91%) with a cotton swab.

I tore down the whole Chromebook, then reseated all the flex and ZIF connectors. (The other functions like trackpad, speakers, screen, etc. work fine)

Samsung Chromebook Series 3: Need help reconnecting trackpad ribbon cable to motherboard!

Hi. I replaced the battery on my 5-year old Chromebook. After it charged I had no cursor. I disconnected the trackpad and cleaned it with alcohol and replaced, replacing the ribbon cables, etc. Still no cursor. However, in the process of cleaning I disconnected ribbon cable port from the motherboard on the opposite end from the trackpad. I shouldn’t have done this. I thought it didn’t look like it was seated properly so I pulled up on it. Now I don’t know how to reconnect it. It doesn’t seem intuitive. Does it snap into place (doesn’t seem so)? Do I get it flush with the motherboard and push it forward toward the back of the computer? When I was playing around with it I noticed a tiny metal bracket or “arm” to the left of the place where the port should be seated. I inadvertently broke that off the board when I tried to bend it. I’m hoping that this can be fixed. The ribbon cable is securely clamped in the port, but the port is not connected to the motherboard. Also, still don’t know how I lost the cursor nor how to get it back. Thank you in advance for your great instructions and photos. I hope you can help me. I have the Samsung Chromebook 3. hi, im just some random kid trying to fix my home chromebook lol, so my shift key (left one if it helps) is not working. its the one normally use, and i think its broken. my mom wont let me call google tech support. and my dad doesnt know how to fix it (hes a i.t. guy, and he doesnt use a chromebook.) its probably broken cause i like to write and play roblox on my chromebook. so if someone can help me, that would be great :3

I want to know if I can change the charging port on my Samsung chromebook 4 XE350XBA-K01US 15.6" by myself. I don't know if it needs to be soldered or if it has screws. I generally like to fix things on my own to save money, but if I have to solder it, I'll be taking it in. If I can fix it on my own, can someone link a video or a how to page for that one?
