<p>I have an ADF scanner that failed to scan documents, from one day to the next.</p>

<p>On one side (the front side), a zone is completely dark gray, about 5cm wide:</p>

<p>Do you have experience with this kind of device? I haven't disassembled the scanner yet. Viewing some videos, I carefully cleaned the sensor's glass with a paper towel and isopropyl alcohol, with no luck: nothing changed. I suppose the gray zone is too wide to be caused by a dirty glass.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Printer: Repeated error code 012-283 with Library printer]]></title>

<p>We have had error code 012-283 occur with our library printers, we have had a printer technician out to repair once already, am seeking advice regarding this as I can confirm there is no printer jam, there is no apparent faulty hinge and all doors to the library printer appear stable and sound, this is a recurring issue and I would rather my helpdesk team have a solution for repair instead of having to keep calling out the techs.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Canon Printer: Bad Color prints - Refilling, Cleaning helpless.]]></title>

<p>I had Canon Pixma MG3570 Printer which is multi-functional wireless printer.</p>

<p>For the first time the cartridge got empty. So i refilled the Black &amp; Color cartridges upon emptying.</p>

<p>Since then, I have problem in printing color pages but only black photo copying works fine(not gray-scale prints which have random faded/deviated colors or stripes upon printing).</p>

<p>The sample test print (pattern &amp; alignment check) are included as attachment.</p>

<p>2&gt; Dis-assembly &amp; assembly manual or video.</p>

<p>3&gt; Any other immediate maintenance required (like waste ink pad cleaning or ...)</p>

<title><![CDATA[Konica Minolta 2430DL: uneven streaks on paper]]></title>

<p>Hi, I've been getting white streaks on my color copies that vary in width and tried several things.</p>

<p>1- cleaned the glass lens with a soft cloth.</p>

<p>2 - swiped a clean cloth across the fuser bristles.</p>

<p>3 -Reinstalled the driver.</p>

<p>4- purchased a new drum but the problem remains.</p>

<p>Suggestions?</p>

<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello! I've a Brother MFC-L8650CDW and when I print the the left side of the paper is embossed from, what I think, the feeding wheel. As well as this the print has ghosting.</p>

<p>Is there a common part that I can change to fix this?</p>

<p>I contacted Brother support. They suggested to update the firmware on the printer... (what, how's that going to help?)</p>

<title><![CDATA[Canon Printer: Can I get my MAC to run Canon printer BJC210?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have had nothing but problems with printers ever since Canon refused to back up the old BJC210 printer. I have a MAC (Microsoft WPX Office 10703 Home and Student)</p>

<p>but I can't get my BJC210 to work. I like my old printer so much, I would even buy a small computer with the Windows program installed and use it solely to run the printer.</p>

<p>I bought the printer maybe 15 years ago and it never ever let me down or missed a beat and got me through my Ph.D with all the printing that involved. I liked it so much, I bought two more used ones and learned how to refill the cartridges. I thought I was set up for life, but Canon shot me down... <title><![CDATA[LaserJet Pro 400 M401: After replacing rollers & pads still getting 'No paper in pickup' err]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I replace all of the rollers and pads in my LaserJet400 when both the manual feed and paper tray feed both stopped working (as per <a href="/Answers/View/841853/Paper+feed+issues,+what+to+replace" target="_blank">this post</a>).</p>

<p>After replacing all of the rollers the manual feeder is working perfectly but the regular paper tray feed is still totally not working. If I try to print with the tray out (and bypassing the tray sensor) I do see the roller spinning to try to pickup the paper, but with the tray in it never grabs the paper.</p>

<p>What else can I look at or replace?</p>

<p>Just tried switching the rollers but no dice.</p>

<p>I think the one on the left with the black is the original HP part and the the white on both sides is the new roller.</p>

<p>The one on the right has more texture to the rubber as you can see in the picture, the left one is pretty smooth.</p>
