I am seeking technical assistance regarding a network signal issue with my sons Samsung S21 Ultra (UK spec, SM-G998B/DS) following a screen replacement.

After I successfully replaced the smashed screen with a replacement screen, the display functions correctly, but the device can no longer find a network signal. In an attempt to resolve this, I have already replaced the following components with new parts:

- The charging port board
- The main connector ribbon cable (wide cable with the arrow)
- The narrow green sub-ribbon cable
- The right-angled antenna (top right corner) the one held in with Y screws.

Additionally, I have tested the device with an eSIM to rule out a fault with the physical SIM card or the SIM reader. Despite these replacements, the signal issue persists.

Could you please advise on any further troubleshooting steps or specific components that may be causing this loss of connectivity?

Hi, I'm having a real head-scratcher after trying every troubleshooting option under the sun..

Basically, I've ported my number from another phone provider. I received their sim card and it doesn't make or receive calls (data and text are OK), and the reception is quite sketchy.

But here's the weird part: when I test the new sim in another phone - the sim can make calls fine, so the sim works. Then, when I try another sim in my phone, that sim can make calls. So the phone works OK...

For whatever reason, this specific phone providers sim in this specific phone can't make calls, and has trouble finding reception.

I've called apple, the phone hardware got a green light after a diagnostic. I've reset network settings, reset the entire phone, I've bought a brand new replacement sim, the phone isn't locked - all leaves me with the same issue.

I'm wondering whether something when wrong in the porting process, or something on my phone isn't written correctly as it relates to this specific provider. My provider is looking into it now

Appreciate any help as I'm all out of normal troubleshooting options.

I submerged my phone in water and now it does not power on nor does it appear to take a charge. Only a little LED status light comes on briefly when plugged in to a charger. I swapped the housing for a customer on an iPhone 14 pro max with an OEM/Pull housing from a well-known supplier. I have done so many times without any issues. This time I am getting a reboot with a pink screen every 2 to 3 minutes. I have the panic log, and it points to the power flex. I would like to know has anyone had this issue and is it normal for the power flex to function but, still cause panic? I have another power flex and wireless charging flex on order.

The power button flex on an "OEM" housing with small parts was causing the issue. Swapped it out and no more pink screen of death.
