GoPro Hero4 Black: GoPro Hero 4 Black Complete Freeze

The camera will not connect to my computer. And I cannot access it via wifi, as I cannot turn the wifi on.

Because every time I press the shutter button, the camera freezes completely and must be shut off before it will do anything else. But the problem simply repeats itself no matter what I try.

I cannot update the software, nor check the contents of the camera.

Is there anything I can do?

My GoPro says the wifi is turned on but my phone/laptop/ipad do not see it. Seems like maybe the antennae?

I have the original GoPro hero and the attachment clips are part of the housing case which can't be replaced or removed. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how to reattach the clips? Is it going to have to be a glue job?

There was leakage of salt water into my GoPro, and then a flashy screen. My GoPro will now not turn on. I even put it in rice. Can you fix it?

GoPro Hero3: It keeps turning off and on by itself

Out of nowhere, when I power on my GoPro Hero 3 Black, it turns off and on, repeatedly, by itself, until I remove the battery.

There was no shock to the camera when it stopped working, no water damage, maybe a hotter than usual day, but nothing crazy.

I've tried:

removing the battery
removing the SD card
different battery
upgrading the firmware (didn't work, power cycles but with the firmware upgrade process)
tearing it apart and looking for loose/broken connections

No luck.

Any ideas?

GoPro HD Hero2: Doesn't start up after not using several months

GoPro worked well but after not using it for a few months it doesn't startup.

Checked battery = charged

Tried battery of a friend: same problem.

Searched the internet and found information that this happens more often. Soft- or hardware problem?

My Gopro hero 4 silver lcd screen won't turn on. I've tried the troubleshooting instructions in Gopro official site like: turning on the display in setting options, ''reset default camera", and update the camera online using my laptop; the update was a success but i still have the LCD screen problem. My Gopro hero 4 silver was perfectly fine the last time I used it 2 months ago and when I turned it on now, the LCD screen won't turn on anymore. Please help guys! Thanks!

I just bought my replacment rear screen yesterday i tried to replace it, but i couldn't remove the original. I could tear down almost totally (i removed even the battery box) but then i stuck. Thanks for any help.

Hi all,

I recently had my GoPro in saltwater as I hadn't realised/checked that the wrong back door was on. I had imediatly took the battery out and later washed with fresh water and placed in a bag of rice.

My problem now is that the rear touch LCD does no longer have any brightness. What I mean is in low light I can see the screen i.e in doors at night. Outdoors I cannot see the screen hardly and if I go into the brightness settings and select medium or high nothing happens. As far as I can tell everything else works.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to get the brightness working again?

GoPro Hero3: How to replace the house-latch/lock in a GoPro Hero3 Silver?

So, I'm having a struggle finding a spare house latch/lock. The black thing on-top of the waterproof housing which holds the door shut.

Where can I find one?

I don't want to buy a whole new housing when the only thing wrong is the lock.

PS Those I find on eBay are only for GoPro Hero 2...

After a fall broke my standard housing . I would like to substitute another . How should I do? Buy a standard housing of hero 3 and adapt to my hero or the hero exists standard housing to buy.
