Xbox 360: Xbox always says open disc tray

When a game is inserted, the Xbox still says "open tray." I have googled this and found it to be called "open tray error." Is there a way to fix this?

I have a PlayStation 3 that will turn on, but it has no signal on my TV. I used an HDMI cable and have tried it in different ports on my TV. I even went back to the original cables that came with it to hook it up. What could be the problem?

Nintendo 3DS: No power - makes a popping sound - fails to turn on.

Hello,

I have 3 (three!) 3DS systems that have the same problem. When you press the power button, the blue light turns on for a second, and then the screen flashes with a popping sound and the system shuts off.

Any idea on what's going on here? I read something once about a fuse, but that was long ago.

My PS3 controller recently stopped working after a friend borrowed it. It worked fine prior to his use, but now it seems like it has no power—and when I plug it in, it doesn't connect for charging. I can't use it and am wondering if it could be the lithium battery or if there is a soldered connection that came undone from the USB port. Can this be repaired or is this $50.00 controller that is less than a year old garbage?

I have had my PlayStation4 since release and just recently it started to give me issues. The PS4 is connected to a working power socket and plug in correctly, however I can't get the PS4 to respond (turn on) in anyway. It won't turn on at all, I get no light or beep like others have. The PS4 won't turn on for the Controller or Disk input. Noting out of the norm changed so I don't understand what would have caused this. No falls, no power outages, no over heating. Any ideas? can this even be fixed?

My ps4 hasn't been working for two days. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, two tv's and it still wont work. Safe mode isn't coming up but my tv does recognize its connected to a playstation. Their is also sound coming through my headphones when connected to my controller. The light shows itstarted properly (blue light then white light). what should I do?

I have an Xbox One that will not turn on when I press the power button. It will make the beep-bop noise when I hit the power button, but alas, no power gets to it. I have tried everything from power cycling to changing power bricks. I have had this happen before with another console and sent it in for repair. I want to quicken the process up. I have a question. My ps4 controller stop charging. Why???

When i plug in to ps4, does't it work(yellow color not see). When i plug in to my pc usb show me the yellow color but when i press the PS button wont turn on. Before a week i have this problem and when i press the reset button was fixed. But the problem come again and does't fix it when i press the reset button. Please some advise.

Xbox One: Xbox Powers on and immediately powers off

Has anyone figured out exactly what is causing the problem with Xbox Ones that power on, and immediately power off. The power brick is lit orange which instantaneously turns white once the Xbox is turned on directly from the console, but immediately powers off.

This is a very common problem that Microsoft will not discuss.

PlayStation 4: Replace Broken HDMI Port

The HDMI output to my PS4 recently broke. The pins inside the PS4 jammed and broke off. Now my PS4 has no output signal.

I called Sony and was told it was user error so they won't replace it for me.

The port is missing at least 2 pins. I have already taken the PS4 apart and couldn't figure out a solution. Is this part replaceable? Where I can find the part?

PlayStation 3: PS3 doesn't boot, no video, green light

My PS3 60GB (CECHE01) recently stopped booting. I tried two new sets of cables, thinking it was my TV, but no luck. Next, I tried to access the Safe Mode/recovery menu, but still saw no output on the screen. I also tried Safe Mode on an old, composite input TV to rule out my primary TV—no love there either.

A controller connected to USB will not register; it just blinks all four LEDs slowly. It shows the same symptoms when connected with component and old-school composite cables. I have no HDMI available to test.

The green light is on, there's no "yellowish" light of death, and the HDD access light will blink once at boot, then stays off.

The HDD doesn't have any unusual noises (clicking, voice coil dead, etc.).

Since I can't even get into Safe Mode, does this mean it's motherboard or power supply?

When i turn my xbox slim on it lights up with a single red dot in the center and the screen is black. Before the red dot appeared, my console would freeze at a constant rate. I would appreciate any enlightenment on this issue.

Very simply, the L and R buttons on my DSi don't work anymore. I tried going to Nintendo about the problem, but they said it'd cost at least $50 to repair...and my system is long past its warranty. Will I have to take apart my DS to fix it?

My Xbox 360 S wont turn on, but it makes a beep when I touch the power button and eject button. The power supply light is a solid Orange, and the USB ports look good. (nothing touching metal-saw this was a issue on youtube). I've done everything that Microsoft said to do, like unplug everything, change outlets and still nothing.

This is what happened:

I turned it on, everything was fine. there was a update, so I did the update. It loaded fine. i was at my home screen and the wife wanted to watch a movie so I went to "my video/movie". it just kept on loading and wouldnt load. So I turned the xbox off, and went to turn it back on and it wouldn't work.

HELP PLEASE. My warranty expired 5 months ago...my luck!
