Battery will not charge. Seems a common problem of fairly new Dell E11 chromebooks.

None of the hard reset and reseat battery solutions will work. Neither leave it charge for 24 hours.

Charger remains cold even on hot day and charging light right side chrome book a flashes blue split second when inserting ac adapter/charger.

Hello, I purchased a chrome book off of craigslist. I found that it was a managed device ive tried several ways of rebooting , power wash, esc, refresh, power even reinstalling the operating system, but didn't get any accurate results. Is there a way I can go inside the chromebook and reset it from there? It's kinda useless as a home laptop if I can't do anything on it. The model is a Dell chromebook 11

Any tricks to return it to factory ??

I bought this Chromebook offerup but is still enrolled in an enterprise. I rather see what I can do to try and fix it. I got it for $40 and with or without enterprise enrollment the deal is to good to pass up.

I have wiped it so there is nothing on it - uninstalled drivers and tried everything else I have read online. Can anyone help or fix this?! Google ‘blue screen of death windows’ and you will see what I am getting - and can no longer get anything else. Annoying as it was working fine until this happened.

My Chromebook has failed to turn on. The charging light turns on but the screen is black and it fails to respond. I have replaced the screen as that is what I thought the initial problem was. I have also tried hard resetting it and trying to force it to turn on. Someone recommended plugging it in without the battery, but that also failed. Is there anything else I can try or something I am not considering? I looked at the rest of the parts and they seemed fine.

I’ve plugged my chromebook and the white light on the corner led light is on only while it’s plugged in but it is just a black screen and it’s been charging for 7 hours and won’t turn on and i’ve tried everything. holding power button, holding the power and reset button, turning up the brightness, etc.

Does anyone know of a source for replacement headphone jacks? I work for a school and we have a large number of damaged headphone jacks on otherwise still working chromebooks. I’m handy enough with a soldering iron to do it, just need to know if anyone has identified a source for the part.

Dell Chromebook 3100 2-in-1: My trackpad doesn't work after spilling Coke on it.

Last night I spilled Coke on half of my chromebook. I immediately cleaned it up as best I could and held it upside down for 30 minutes. I turned it on and everything worked fine and I used it for 2 more hours. In the morning I turned it on and everything still worked fine. Some of the key were sticky and the trackpad still worked. I tryed to fix the keys by wiping a damp paper towel with soap on it because thats what my sis told me to do and the trackpad stopped working. I didnt put any water or soap on the trackpad.

I cant exactly stop using my chromebook for a week because I need it for school.

Please help me.

It isnt a software issue because it can still use an external mouse.
