Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic: Galaxy watch 4 classic not turning on (black screen)

I have a 46mm galaxy watch 4 classic that is completely unresponsive with a black screen. The watch has no water damage, I took it apart just to check that. I've tried holding both buttons down to no avail. I'm running out of ideas on what it might be.

I don't have much of a back story on it, a friend gave it to me and said it quit working one night. He didn't know if it updated before it quit. it was not boot looping before it quit.

Anybody got any ideas on what it might be?

Update:

I bought another Galaxy watch on eBay for parts to potentially put two together to make one good one. Unfortunately in the eBay listing it was labeled as boot looping but now that I have that it happened but it has not shown any life since I've had it, so back to square one... At least it was only $20 lol

I did take it apart as well just to check for water damage and it was spotless so more than like more than likely the same issue as my other one..... Nice

Apple Watch: How to factory reset an Apple Watch 7000 without passcode

Hi community,

I recently bought an Apple Watch 7000 with a broken screen off ebay and managed to get it working again, but I found out that the watch is locked with a passcode.

I’ve tried the method illustrated at Restore Apple Watch to Factory Settings (Without Passcode), but no matter where I press on the screen after holding the power button, no erase content and settings screen comes on.

Is there something that I’m doing wrong, or maybe something different I could do?

Kind Regards,

Carpe Diem

Edit: I’ve added some images of the backside of the watch

VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2: How to release the tiny screen ribbon cable connector on Kidizoom DX2?

I am following the battery replacement guide for the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2, but I am stuck on Step 7. The ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector for the screen ribbon cable is extremely small, and I am having trouble flipping the locking bar up to release the cable.

I've tried using tweezers and a toothpick, but I'm worried about applying too much force and damaging the connector or the motherboard. Does anyone have specific tips or alternative tools for handling such tiny connectors without a microscope? Any advice on how to tell if I'm prying the correct part of the flap would be greatly appreciated.

Fitbit Sense: Sense won't power on or sync

My Fitbit sense won't power on. It's been on the charger all night. I've tried all troubleshooting tips and nothing! Holding button for 10 seconds or more, cleaning connection with alcohol wipes, left on charger, tried a different charger and used laptop to charge. Restarted my phone. I uninstalled my Fitbit app,,turned Bluetooth on and off. Any other suggestions? When I go to the app, it won't sync to my s21 ultra phone. Can I take apart this watch? I've had it over 1 year, so probably no warranty.

Apple Watch SE (Second Generation): What is this connector for?

Following fixit's guide for a battery replacement for Apple's Smart Watch, doing so on my 44mm SE 2 watch worked, mostly. The guide warns about the right side of the watch around the stem to be very careful because of the connections. Well on my 44mm watch those connections are on the bottom. I cut through the bottom left connector; what is its function? The watch still had residual power and would show the time (bottom right) and I could not fully discharge the battery. It was off for 2 weeks before I started to work on it.

Like I mentioned above it's the lower left connector that has a screw holding it down. I think it is a ground point but am not positive. Thanks in advance to anyone who can identify this for me.

Ken
