iPhone 4 Rear Glass Panel (GSM/AT&T)

$79.95

Product code: IF182-002

Product Overview

Glass is a symbol for love—its fragility, its way of revealing the beauty of life around you, and the way it will flatten your nose if you disregard it. Risk a squashed schnoz for a lovely metaphor today with our iPhone 4 rear glass panel (GSM/AT&T).

Includes the camera lens and the light diffuser for the LED flash. You do NOT need to remove any components from another panel to complete this panel. This has all the necessary parts to replace the rear panel entirely.

Do not be fooled by other sellers that try to sell you an OEM panel without all the parts.

This rear panel will only work on AT&T or GSM iPhone 4's.

If you want an alternative to the glass panel, check out the iPhone 4 transparent rear panel.

You may also want to consider getting a nifty screen protector, so that your iPhone can play nice with your keys.

My Problem

My rear-camera didn't work and my rear Glass Panel was broken. I wanted both to be okay.

My Fix

With the help of Ifixit tools and guides it was a very simple thing to fix. Within 30 minutes my Iphone was new again.

My Advice

I recommanded Ifixit to several friends.

My Problem

Cracked back on iPhone 4

My Fix

Easiest repair of anything I have repaired.

My Advice

Don't be afraid of doing this one yourself.

My Problem

Because I'm very clumsy and always leave my phone fall to the ground... broken the rear panel... :\

My Fix

It was easy, I saw the video that you guys posted on the website and did the same.

My Advice

Give a beautiful case to your iPhone.

My Problem

The problem was simple. Dropped phone equals broken back glass.

My Fix

This was the simplest repair EVER. Two screws, slip of the old back glass, slip on the new back glass, then replace the two screws

My Advice

If your iPhone has a broken back glass, fix it! Seriously, easy as pie. Or pi, if you're into math.

My Problem

Backpanel was shatterd. User let the iPhone fall down on the pavement.

My Fix

Repair went perfectly. iFixit send the package fast and good. Received it in two days (into Europe).

Remove the screws (5point) and slide of the backpanel. Place the replacement panel, replace the screws (with Philips) and ready-set-go!

iPhone as new again!

My Advice

Follow the instruction, it's easy!

My Problem

The camera lens on the back panel was scracthed on my Iphone4

My Fix

Smooth, thanks to the rather clear repair guide on iFixit

My Advice

Just follow the iFixit repair guides.

My Problem

The glass in front of my camera was scratched pretty bad so my pictures were blurry.

My Fix

The repair was super easy. Although I had to go to my local sunglass repair shop to get a screwdriver small enought to fit the two screws at the bottom of the phone. But the process was simple and easy.

My Advice

So just make sure you have the appropriate screwdriver.

My Problem

The original glass rear panel shattered from impact, then the replacement clear panel did but to my surprise no impacts just heavy useage so I needed something re-enforced so I turned to the OEM part again knowing thats the build

My Fix

Easy sliding panel, the extraction kit wasn't the best for the job sadly, so used another (non)reccomended Way to grab the screws. Once in place looks exactly as it did from box, feels the same even... Noticed near the headphone jack area on rear panel it isn't 100% secure as in I can slide my finger nail in the area.. U don't see it but I was cleaning some stuff off of it after eating and using the device when I discovered it. So still positive experiance overall

My Advice

Don't strip the screws in the first place.. If u do strip them need another method to remove them apart from the extraction kit, if that includes super glue or shattering out the rear panel and preyin the screws out (very) carefully I found that to be better over all... Apart from that the rear panel is really freaking easy

My Problem

dropped the phone on the floor at just the right angle to chip the glass back panel

My Fix

easiest repair in the world to make, take 2 screws out, pop out the old panel, pop in the new one

My Advice

it's actually cheaper to buy back panels than some of the cool "protective" covers out there - so assuming you don't drop the device on it's face (more difficult repair maybe) or in a vat of acid or something it might be easier to just exchange the back when it's scratched :)

My Problem

Camera was scratched on iPhone 4

My Fix

Replace the rear panel. Phone is like new now.

My Advice

Took 30 seconds, very easy
