Soundless front speaker
When you play music no sound.
Check volume
Turn the volume up and down. Plug in headphone into the headphone jack to see if there is sound. If there is no sound after you plug it in, try restarting your cell phone because your cell phone might have frozen.
Check your setting
Go into the settings on your phone and then go to the sound settings section. Click the volume button and drag the ringtone button to the right.
Repairman may be needed
If your device is under warranty contact your manufacturer and send for repair or replacement.
Frozen Front Screen
Front screen is frozen and can't get it to work properly.
Take out SIM Card
Take off the back cover and pull out the SD card which is in the longer slot. Next, pull out the SIM card which is in the horizontal slot. After you take them out, put them back in the correct slots, put the back cover on and turn the power on.
Restart phone
Try to restart the phone by holding the power and volume up button and then confirm the reset when prompted.
Factory reset
As a last resort, the phone can be factory reset.
Error reading SIM card
No SIM card detected ERROR.
Check if the SIM frozen
Put it “Airplane Mode” mean will turn SIM off and then you should able to turn it on back. Turn the cell phone on for 3 mins and then turn it on. Connect to your carrier to solve your problem.
Defective Front & Back Camera
It doesn't show surroundings.
Remove Memory Card
Turn the cell phone off. Remove the memory card. Turn of the cell phone. After that we prefer this steps extra step to make sure will work perfectly. Insert new memory card for the camera again.
Remove Data from Memory Card
Delete the old data from SD and insert it again to the cell phone.
Faulty Headphone Jack
Can’t hear sound when playing music or receiving phone calls
Check if headphones are faulty
Get another pair of headphones and plug them into jack. Listen for sound. If the earphones work then the problem was with the earphones.
Dust in the jack
Take a flashlight and look into jack. Try to blow into jack or use compressed air to shoot into it. If the lint is packed tightly and will not clear out try to use a cotton swab and clean it out. Use the other side of cotton swab and dab some rubbing alcohol on it to clean the rest of the lint from jack. Try playing some audio again and if it doesn’t work check these next steps.
Check Audio Settings
Open up audio settings on ZTE Tempo and check volume levels to see if audio was muted.
Restart phone
Try to restart the phone by holding the power and volume up button and then confirm the reset when prompted.
