Anytime between now and the heat death of the universe*, all you have to do is email us, and we'll send you a completely new set of 2 front and back screen protectors—no questions asked. Just request a replacement, and pay for shipping and handling.

*Heat death of the universe or the lifetime of your device, even if it lives longer than you do.

How do I get a warranty? ¶ 

Your product is under warranty the moment you purchase the screen protector from us or from an authorized vendor.

Do I need to send my screen protector back? ¶ 

No, we have made the warranty process as painless to you as possible. You do not need to mail back the used screen protector, giving you more time to do the things you love. Like pet kitties! Or dogs.

How does the warranty process work? ¶ 

Every iFixit Epic Screen Protector purchase comes with a 100% lifetime warranty.

The only costs for which you are responsible for regarding replacements are:

  • Shipping and handling for the replacement product
  • Potential customs and brokerage fee for the replacement product (international customers only)

The warranty replacement process is as follows:

  1. Request a replacement of the product either by phone or by email. Please include in the email the order number of your initial purchase.
  2. You will receive a coupon code.
  3. Go to www.ifixit.com and add the screen protector to the shopping cart and proceed to check out.
  4. Submit the coupon code when prompted and pay for the shipping and handling.
  5. Your new screen protector will be shipped out to you as soon as possible. Please allow 4-5 business days for delivery (10-15 days for international delivery).

Why is there a shipping and handling fee for a free replacement? ¶ 

The iFixit Epic Screen Protector replacement is free to you. We strive to make the return process as painless and as easy as possible. We know you have better things to do than to drive down to our corporate warehouse with your old screen protector and sort through our inventory to get the new screen protector. We will send you the free replacement in the mail and let our sorting monkeys do the shipping and handling for a small fee.

I just upgraded my device. Is my warranty still valid? ¶ 

Absolutely. As long as your old device is still working and is being used, you can pass on that dear old iPhone and its iFixit Epic Screen Protector to a friend or family member and we will still honor our warranty for the life of the device. Even if it is your great-great-great-grandfather’s device, we will honor the warranty as long as we still produce the screen protector.

While we will honor any request for replacement protectors for your initial iPhone screen protector purchase, we will not be able to upgrade you to an iPhone 5 screen protector, or any screen protector for a different device. You will have to purchase iFixit Epic Screen Protector for the new device.
