== Viewfinder meter does not show up ==
===The camera might not be on===
Make sure that the switch is fully into the "ON" position.
===The battery is low/dead===
As explained above, check that the "A" or "M" in the viewfinder is visible. If it is flashing or not visible at all then the battery needs to be replaced.
===The voltage is not passing from the battery to the other parts of the camera===
There could have been some corrosion which can migrate to the battery box contact wire and cause a resistance so that it will not pass voltage. This would cause the power from the battery to not reach all of the parts in the camera body, causing the light meter to not show up.
