You have trouble docking your Padfone x mini to the tablet docking station.
Faulty Placement
Check to make sure that you are sliding your Padfone x mini correctly into the tablet's docking station. Turn your tablet over so that the screen is facing down to reveal the docking port on the back. Turn your Padfone x mini over so that the screen is face down as well. Slide the Padfone x mini into the tablet's docking bay face down. The side panels should hug the phone as it goes into the port. Make sure you push it all the way down to guarantee a complete connection. Flip the tablet over, and confirm that the display is working correctly.
Faulty Docking Pins on the Tablet
The tablet that accompanies the Padfone x mini has a micro USB port that sticks out of the bottom of the phone bay. The port is used to connect the Padfone x mini to the tablet's screen. If a few pins are bent in the wrong direction, it may be the reason why you are having docking issues. If you need help on how to get your Padfone x mini's pins fixed, check out this guide.

Dead Pixels
If you turn on your phone and there are either black lines or circles, or it is discolored anywhere, it could mean you have dead pixels. This could happen from the screen being cracked or "bruised", which means that the exterior of the screen is fine, but there is damage to the interior portion of the screen. If this is the problem, go to this guide to see how to fix it.
Padfone x mini Not Turning On/Charging
The screen is black when you try turning on the device, and the phone does not hold a charge.

Defective SIM Card
If the device starts to reboot on its own, wait until the phone is accessible, and make sure that no data on the device has been lost. Next, take the SIM card out of the device, and check that there are no defects with it. If there are no defects on the SIM card, then you can go into your settings, and look for any updates that are needed for your Padfone x mini.
Dead Battery
If you have tried all of the steps above, and the phone is still not turning on, you might have a dead battery.
