Answer to: Can I swap out the SSD from my flooded MacBook into another?
Yes, you can If the hardware is almost the same or exactly the same, you can keep the old OS If there are major differences, it's anyone's guess as to if it does like windows, it does or does not It should work providing it did not short We will help you fix the old one if you want too and have it -
Answer to: Replaced My Hard Drive And Now My Cooling Fan Is Way Fast
Yours definitely have the proprietary HDD sensor if it goes crazy like this There are a few fixes that do not involve using compatible or flashed drives to work Look for SMART control software that is free and install that, and have it run at startup or if it gives you the option to run at startup, use it and see if that works I have also heard the sensor is part of the power cable, matching the part number for the right cable, this has been reported to work with friends who tried it These are general tips, but the year the mac is made will also play a major role in their effectiveness As per age of each mac, the 2009 ones are the easiest to tame ones, SMART control software works on them, and the power cord swap may work too and is more likely, and matching drive brands could work as well, and drive brand matching too 2010 ones are something I am not entirley sure about, if I figure it out, I'll update this 2011 is probably hopeless but the power cord swap and SMART software, these are the worst ones due the... -

Answer to: Replaced the hard drive now it won't power on
Because you replaced the HDD, it's not formatted and needs to be formatted in iTunes in Disk Mode Turn the iPod on and press the center button and menu button to reset it Then press and hold the center and menu button to reset it, then press the center button and play/pause button and plug in your cable, it will be in recovery mode, and press restore Start there and tell us what happens Now it's time to try and replace the battery and see what happens Installing iPod Classic Battery If that fails to work for your iPod, then go in and replace the HDD cable If that fails, the HDD is no good you bought and it needs to be exchanged -
Answer to: Will installing a smaller hard drive affect performance?

Answer to: Why can't I activate my iPhone 3GS
First, enter the IMEI in a lost/stolen database, that will cause issues easy if blocked To get the IMEI #, look on the box or go under settings, genreal, about and you'll find your IMEI http://www.smsfun.co.uk/imei_lookup use that to check the IMEI, if it's clean, read on, if bad, sell as-is with a bad IMEI, illegal to change as much as I wish it was legal for legitimate uses, even tough it's tough(if you have to do this, save ALL proof you bought it in case they want proof it is not stolen unless you fancy a possible trip to prison if the judge thinks you did!) It is possible to try this, if blocked, call AT&T or T-mobile, or your carrier and tell them it is a accident you have the phone in your possession, this has a low success rate because because they want your money, but it's worth a shot and repeated tries should make them crack, try as hard as you can to make them crack, consider it a contribution to keep it out of the landfill Restore the iPhone in DFU mode press and hold the power and reset buttons,... -
Answer to: What is the correct backlight coil for iPhone 4 CDMA version?
The iPhone 4 on verizon is the GSM verson with CDMA chips and basebad, there shold be no diffrence Here is the backlight coil and backlight IC in a bundle too http://www.ebay.com/itm/Combo-iPhone-4-IC-and-Coil-Led-Lcd-Backlight-Repair-Part-OEM-USA-/110832214318?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash... I do not think there should be a diffrence as oldturkey03 says(and I have the same thought, i did before) is the coil is swappable with GSM, not sure about backlight IC Sometimes the IC survives, start with the coil only and then change the IC if needed -

Removing the HP Compaq dx2000MT Optical (CD) Drive
