iPhone 1st Generation
Hi,
I have a 4GB 2G Iphone.
I have a problem with the volume control - it starts going down and oscillates -- it seems to be that the switch is stuck. It works once in a while but most of the time the volume just drifts to nothing.
Setting it by software control doesn't help much -- it still dies down to zero.
And I think it's confusing the software on the phone -- Everything seems to slow down as I think it's trying to service the "switch" all the time.
I tried "pulling" the switch out a bit .. but that doesn't help --- so I guess I have to open it.
Question is -- Do I need to replace a part of is it possible to "push it out" a bit and that will fix it.
What do you think?
thanks
