If you decide to drill it out remember you only want to remove the head of the screw. That will leave a portion of the screw to grab with pliers, but I would recommend a surgical Hemostat (clamp. If you suspect Loctite may have been used try pressing a soldering iron to the screw to melt the Loctite.
iBook G3 (32 Meg Vram) starts to bright screen after logic board replacement Jul 25 @ 1:26 AM
My iBook developed a problem with the logic board where it would not start up at all no tone black screen. Trouble shooting pointed to a bad Logic board. But with the replacement board the iBook gives a tone and I can hear the HD which sounds normal, but never shows anything on the screen except light. I have reset PRAM and PMU, tried to start from disc.
Any ideas???? I really want my Mac back......
