I just did the same thing on a macbook pro core duo2. I used superduper and carbon copy cloner and got the same weird result from both. The dock on the new drive was all jumpy. Couldn't quit some applications and couldn't shut down. I ran techtool pro 5 & drive passed. I know it is a cloning problem because of all the tests I ran but I don't believe that two different cloning software could be at fault. If anybody has an answer, please let me know.
