I bought a new power supply. Fitted it as per the guide below: Installing iMac G5 20" Model A1145 Power Supply Hey presto all LED#1 #2 & #3 fired up instantaneously. Fans kicked in, screen came on logged in as per normal. Brilliant :) Please do not archive this it is solved and can be useful to other people with G5 i-sight i-macs.
