Answer to: Upgrade the new MacBook without retina display

The answer is well no. Only the new Macbook Pro with Retina Display has soldered RAM and all kinds of Stuff that can't be repaired other than by Apple themselves. I will probably be going for the Macbook Pro without Retina as I don't see the need for that many pixels, although the Retina Mac has better performance over value IMO. But upgrading will be a real pain.
